Today was our 2nd interview with our social worker. It went very well, and we're just thrilled this process is moving right along. We still have a few pieces of paperwork to get together, and upon getting all of that and then our home visit on the morning of Dec. 27, we'll be finished with this first stage. Except for the waiting. But hopefully, it'll only be a matter of a few weeks before our home study is complete and approved and we're able to actively pursue adoption and have our profile shared with potential birthmothers/birthparents!
We're both so excited and still seek your prayers. We ask for prayers for us - that we're constantly seeking God's will and that we continue to lean on Him for peace and patience and know that our joy comes from Him alone. We ask you to pray for us that as we write our dear birthmom letter and put together our profile/portfolio, that we not try to "sell" or market ourselves but simply give an honest and open glimpse into our lives. We ask for prayers for our future baby and his/her birthparents - that God will provide them with peace and comfort in their decision to place their baby into our (or someone else's) home, and that He will open their hearts to know Him.
