Levi is One!!

One year ago was just ordinary. I took Micah to the dentist at 9:00am. We hung out at home most of the day, and that evening I took him to one of my friend's houses so he could play with her children while Luke and I had a phone conference with Emily, the attorney at the new agency we'd decided to work with. We were excited to work with her. And we were optimistic. We ended the conversation saying we hoped we'd chat again soon. We talked with her from 6:30 until about 7:15 and then Luke went to get Micah.

The day was normal. The evening was normal. I'm sure I went to bed around midnight or so... as normal.

Little did I know that our son had been born at 10:52pm. Ashley had been in labor all day.

This time one year ago, I had no clue our son had entered the world just minutes ago and that it would be a matter of days before he was ours.

The first picture I saw of Levi. He was about a day old.

We will have Levi's party this coming Saturday. July 21. One year to the day we met him.

God is always at work. His hand is in everything. His plan is perfect. His timing is perfect.

God is good all the time.
