This precious 15 year old girl will turn 16 on August 25th.
65 days.
Most teens would be thrilled and looking forward to finally turning 16 years old. Sweet 16. Such a fun age that we all remember looking forward to. Getting a driver's license. Feeling grown up. There is something magical about that number. At least in America and most of the Western world.
Ally, however, is an orphan. In fact, she is in the same orphanage as my Lily & Stella.
If by her 16th birthday paperwork has not been filed for her adoption, on her birthday, she loses the hope of a family. She will 'age-out' of the system in her country and within a year or so be forced to leave her orphanage with only the clothes on her back and very little, if any, money.
With no higher education, probably no family looking for her, nowhere to go, Ally's future is grim. It is fairly likely, as is the case with about 60% of the girls who age out of orphanages in her country, she will be sold into sex slavery or prostitution.
Ally wants to be adopted. She longs and hopes for a family to call hers. She wants to belong and feel loved.
Could you pray for Ally? Could you pray that Ally's family finds her before it's too late? Could YOU be her family? If not, could you share Ally and her story so that maybe her family will see her?
Some friends of mine are setting up an online auction to help Ally's grant fund grow so that the financial part of her adoption will be easier on her parents. Would you visit this page, 'like' it, share it? It'll only be a matter of days before the auction items are up and it goes live. Maybe you can be a part of helping this orphan become someone's daughter.
Lastly, I do know a little about Ally, so if anyone is genuinely interested in pursing her, please be in touch with me.

Praying for her!
