Shrinkage

I got really good news Wednesday at my appointment before chemo. When my onc felt my tumor, she lit up and said "It feels GREAT, Rebecca. It's shrinking beautifully!" At my next appt, we'll schedule an ultrasound to take measurements again. I'm really eager to see what they are considering I feel like it's shrinking and she confirmed that Wednesday.

This round of chemo has been tougher on me than the previous ones - still very weak and tired and a bit sicker than before. My red counts were down on Wednesday, so on Thursday I got a shot of Aranesp along with my usual Neulasta shot for my white counts. Based on the last few weeks, it's expected that when I go for my labs this Thursday that my white counts will be low, and it wouldn't be surprising if I have to stay and get fluids and go on antibiotics again. At least it seems to be working... I'm just hoping that Oct 15 comes really quickly!
