See the Need

Last week I made this post sharing an incredible orphan hosting opportunity through Children's Cultural Connection. Their FB page is here. The deadline to apply to host one of these awesome children is the end of March/beginning of April. Please consider doing this. If not this year, maybe plan ahead like my family is doing! And even if this isn't something you can do, please consider spreading the word about this program! Share on your FB page, blog, with your church or in an e-mail to close friends and family. How wonderful would it be to see ALL of these children find host homes and maybe even forever families!?!

CCC is not the only hosting program out there. There are quite a few others that you can check out if you want to look at other options, some with countries other than Ukraine. Here are a few I've found (I know there are many others) whose summer 2013 deadlines are also approaching (some have winter programs also!).

See the need of the orphan. Feel the need and consider doing something of eternal value by caring for the fatherless in practical ways. Consider adoption. Help adoptive parents. Raise awareness. Develop a fund. Host orphans. Underwrite an orphanage. Do something. And dare I add, even if you have done something - adopt, donate, advocate, host, anything - DON'T stop until there are NO orphans left!!
